The College, originally known as the Peterborough Adult Education Institute, was founded in 1944. It became Peterborough College of Adult Education (PCAE) in 1970 when it moved to its current premises in Brook Street and then became City College Peterborough in 2010, to better reflect the wide range of adults, young people and businesses using its services.
City College Peterborough is a very successful and expanding centre of learning for the city of Peterborough delivering courses through over 60 centres, including schools, community centres, faith centres and sites throughout the city. They deliver a wide range of courses for adults and young people who live and work in the city.
Vehicle Bright were honoured to be asked to design some graphics to go on a City College van, to celebrate the colleges 70 year history. Our design team put together a design that incorporated the college's name and motto, a logo stating the 70 year history of the college, some contact details, and a few photographs from the college's past.
