One of our largest projects to date is a ‘Super Lobby’ in the new Porters Edge residential building in Canada Water – it was part of a larger regeneration programme for the area.
The interior spaces where our manufacturing and installation expertise were called up on included the entrance lobby, lift lobby, cafe, private residents lounge, on-site gym, and office.
A new ‘Super Lobby’ for Project Light in Canada Water is one of the largest projects we’ve completed to date. Project Light is a multi-phased dockside regeneration scheme in Southwark attracting young professionals and families into the area.
Our involvement consisted of the manufacturing and installation of an entrance lobby, lift lobby, cafe, residents lounge bar, gym, and office.
The main building entrance leads to a generously arranged double height space. There is also a waiting and reception area as well as informal lounge space.
A set back first floor, accessed via a staircase and with lift access from the core, provides further communal amenity space for residents.
Design consistency and practicality were high up on the agenda for our commercial clients, yet the spaces were very different in height, layout and function. We met their goals by using high-quality materials, mixed flooring, marble table and counter tops, large modern panelling, bespoke feature points including floor to ceiling glass and shelving, as well as iron railings in the stairwells and gym areas. For contrast and comfort, softer furniture pieces were placed throughout.
